The song from Ram Gopal Varma’s forthcoming film based on the Mumbai terrorist attacks is terrific and terrifying
In his upcoming film The Attacks of 26/11, Ram Gopal Varma will depict the terror attack that shook Mumbai in 2008. The song Maula maula from RGV’s crime thriller will give you a quick recap of the dreadful incident. Sung by Sukhwinder Singh, this track is hard-hitting and disturbing. The visuals are certainly not for the feeble-hearted.
RGV tells the horrific tale without shying away from showing violence, bloodshed and gore explicitly in this number. Terrific actors like Nana Patekar and Atul Kulkarni play the lead in this flick. If Atul is seen playing an intense cop, Nana Patekar’s presence is absolutely arresting. The song shows how the city was held under siege by terrorists and many lives were lost in the attacks that took place at the Taj Hotel, Leopold Café, Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus and Nariman House.
We hope the film is as detailed and hard-hitting as it promises to be. Take a look at this number and tell us if it leaves you disturbed and uneasy.
